Learning QGIS 2.0

So I was browsing around for QGIS 2.0 installation instructions when I came upon a tweet announcing the release of the  Learning QGIS 2.0 book.

For the uninitiated, QGIS is the Open Office of the desktop GIS world. It is arguably the best FOSS desktop GIS package right now (Remind me to write a post on GIS and geospatial sometime).

If memory serves, Learning QGIS 2.0 is the first book dedicated to QGIS. Geospatial Desktop comes close but it covers uDig and other desktop FOSS GISl.

In the spirit of supporting FOSS and geospatial, I got the ebook version. It costs £8.99 but a coupon code (bawdanu) shaved it to around £5. Now if I only I could free up some reading time…
